What is your Deposit and Cancellation policy ?

What is your Deposit and Cancellation policy ?

In order to secure your booking, a deposit should be paid in advance. The amount is proportional to your total bill. Until the deposit is paid, the apartment cannot be considered firmly hold nor reserved.

Deposit amount requested

  • Short-term stays: 30% of the total amount

  • Long-term stays: depending on booking value, between €200 to 500€.

To settle the remaining balance for your stay, please pass by our office on Swotha Square. You can pay cash in Nepali rupees, USD or Euros according to the exchange rate on the day of billing. You can also pay by credit card and bank transfer. If you prefer Paypal, please note that a 5% fee will be charged.

The deposit paid at the time of your booking will be deducted from your final payment.

Cancellation Policy

More than 1 month before check-in:
50% of the deposit is refunded

Less than 1 month before check-in:
The deposit is non-refundable - eventual credit note can be issued and valid for a limited time.

Additional Notes

Our deposit is set at a fair rate. While we understand that cancellations may happen for valid reasons, this policy must be upheld. Each booking involves preparation time and blocks availability, and last-minute cancellations limit our ability to offer the space to other guests.

Refund eligibility is determined by the accommodation provider according to the policy above. When applicable, refunds are technically processed via the booking platform.

Long-term stays shortened to short-term stays:

  • The applicable short-term rate will apply for the actual duration of the stay

  • The deposit remains non-refundable unless one month’s notice is given prior to the revised departure date

Airbnb bookings

For bookings made via Airbnb, Airbnb’s cancellation and refund policies apply, as defined on the Airbnb platform at the time of booking.

Currency note

Our bank account is set in Euros but prices and deposits may be displayed in different currencies for convenience.
Any currency conversion is handled by the guest’s bank or card provider.
