Remember to always inform us by email about your approximate arrival time.

Please note that there is no reception at the house. It is necessary that you either come to our Cosy Nepal office on Swotha Square (150 meters away) to pick up the key, or you can call one of the numbers above when you are on your way so we can meet you in front of the house (and give directions to your driver if necessary).

Finding our Ombahal House :

From Bhimsen Temple / Patan Durbar Square, find the restaurant Casa Pagoda (behind the water sprout). Leave it on your right and walk about 100m on the small street towards East (Chyasal/Balkumari). After walking 100 meters straight, you will reach a little square called “Walkhu Chowk” where there is a Ganesh Temple (small 2 storey pagoda).

Behind this temple (just a few meters away) you will notice a small alley on the right, that leads to Ombahal Monastery. Second last building just before you enter the Ombahal Monastery is our Ombahal House.

Direction to Cosy Nepal office on Swotha Square :

Between the two temples of Swotha Square, look for a nice tea shop called "Swotha Kiosk" (there is two tables outside from where you can get tea and coffee outside) and another local eatery called “Nandini Food Court”. Between those two places, there is a metal gate and a doorway that leads to a courtyard: Yatachhen house/ Cosy Nepal office is in front of you, a few prayer flag hanging on top of the century old Newari door ! 

Shuttle service

For a smooth arrival, we can organise a drive for you, let us know your exact flight details and our driver will be waiting for you outside the airport entrance, holding a board with your name on it. Fares are as followed : Day fare 20$ - Night fare 25$ (from 7pm to 7am), up to three people with 3 medium pieces of luggages.
Van / SUV are available at the rate of 30$.

Besides discretionary tips, please don’t give money to anyone at the airport. You will pay us after you have well settled in. Please note that the payment for shuttle has to be done in cash ($, € or NPR).
